The "Friuli Colli Orientali e Ramandolo" Wine Protection Consortium was born - among the very first in Italy - in 1970. Several decades have now passed, and it is precisely in this period of time that the viticulture of these areas has been considerably strengthened, imposing itself on national and international level.
