Wines Red Romanée-Saint-Vivant

Romanée-Saint-Vivant is a Grand Cru appellation of the Côte de Nuits which extends over more than 8 hectares on the municipality of Romanée-Saint-Vivant. The vineyards of the Romanée-Saint-Vivant appellation possess lands similar to Romanée-Conti, with brown and clay soils, with the only difference that they are deeper. The Romanée-Saint-Vivant wines are only red from Pinot Noir. Like most of the Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits, these are characterized by fragrances of small red and black fruits, flowers, spices and vegetal notes. They prove to be powerful, delicate and very sensual. Their incredible aging potential allows them to age for 20 to 30 years.
