Napa Valley is the most famous wine growing area in California and certainly also in the whole of the United States of America. The fame of this area is such that Napa Valley is often considered synonymous with American wine, so much so that it also overshadows other interesting areas, not just those of California. Strongly based on the wine production of the most famous "international" grape varieties, Napa Valley is appreciated all over the world for the equally "international" style of its wines, from whites to reds, and even sparkling wines produced with the classic method.
