Cabernet-Sauvignon is a black berry vine of Bordeaux origin, in the Médoc and Graves-Saint-Amant areas, and is undoubtedly the most ductile variety in the world for the production of wines of great quality and longevity. As it can be easily deduced from the name, Cabernet Sauvignon was born from the (spontaneous) cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc and it is not by chance that it offers the best characteristics of both.
