A cuvée that pays homage to Jacques-Marie Duvault Blochet, the first owner of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and ancestor of Aubert de Villaine.

The 2020 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Cuvée Duvault-Blochet is largely sourced from a younger plot of vines in La Tâche, planted in 1998, which is complemented by some young vines in Grands-Échézeaux. Rich with aromas of sweet berry fruit, exotic spice and classy new oak, it is medium to full bodied, broad and velvety, with a layered and concentrated mid-palate, built around dusty tannins and vibrant acids.
