The color is intense ruby red while the nose expresses notes of ripe red fruits, floral aromas of violets, undergrowth and is completed with pleasant hints of aromatic wood. In the mouth it is warm, with a dense texture, persistent and has excellent verticality. Brunello Vignavecchia di San Polo, thanks to the characteristics of the land it comes from, withstands long aging and improves with aging in the bottle.

One of the best vintages of the last twenty years. The entire vegetative cycle of the vine took place in the best climatic conditions. A winter characterized by abundant rains and cold temperatures was followed by a dry spring with slightly above average temperatures, which allowed for homogeneous budding and ideal flowering. The summer months saw few but important rains, which made sustainable and environmentally friendly phytosanitary management possible. Sunny and warm days with excellent temperature ranges brought the grapes to ideal conditions at the end of September: completely healthy berries and high acidity despite the high sugar content. The Sangiovese harvest, which ended by the end of the month, delivered perfectly healthy grapes with a very thick skin, a prerequisite for long macerations and wines with great evolutionary potential.
