Trimarchisa 2018

Ruby red, rich and complex on the nose, remembers blackberries and black cherry. Delicate hint of wood. On the palate is complex with an extraordinary persistence.

The Trimarchisa district is located in Verzella (a hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia). It is a ridge of lava soil, with the presence of calcareous sediments, sloping down towards the Alcantara river. The vines used are Nerello Mascalese and a small part of Nerello Cappuoccio. The vines have an average age of over 40 years.
