This selection of Tuscan wines offers an interesting spectrum of styles and varieties, representing some of the best interpretations of both international and indigenous grape varieties, curated by high-profile producers in Tuscany. Here is an overview of each of the selected wines:

• Isola e Olena - Syrah Collezione Privata 2019: This Syrah is an excellent example of the grape variety's ability to adapt and express itself in the Tuscan terroir. The 2019 is full of dark fruit aromas, black pepper and smoky notes, with a firm structure and soft tannins that promise good longevity.

• Avignonesi & Capannelle - 50&50 2016: The 50&50 is an innovative blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, born from the collaboration of two renowned wineries. The 2016 boasts a perfect balance between ripe cherries and the richness of the Merlot, with an elegant structure, silky tannins and a long lingering finish.

• Marchesi Antinori - Tignanello 2021: Tignanello is one of the first and most famous "Supertuscans," a blend of mostly Sangiovese with a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The 2021 vintage is vibrant, with notes of fresh red fruits, spice, and a subtle touch of oak, supported by a robust tannic structure that indicates excellent aging potential.

• Tua Rita - Perlato del Bosco 2021: This wine is mostly Sangiovese with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, offering a vibrant red fruit profile, earthy notes, and spice. The 2021 has remarkable freshness with well-integrated tannins, making it approachable young but capable of developing well in the bottle.

• Isola e Olena - Cabernet Sauvignon Collezione Privata 2018: A superb example of Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows the varietal's ability to fully express itself in the climate and soil of Tuscany. The 2018 is dense and complex, with cassis, chocolate, herbs, and a robust tannic structure.

• Grattamacco - L’Alberello 2019: This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese is another brilliant example of a Supertoscano. The 2019 “L’Alberello” displays a rich palette of dark fruit, tobacco, and leather, with complexity enhanced by barrique aging that provides integrated tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Each of these Tuscan wines represents a unique fusion of tradition and innovation, offering complex, distinctive profiles that are prized by collectors and wine lovers alike for their quality and aging potential. They are excellent choices for special occasions or to add depth to a cellar.
