Secretary of State is a whiskey made of pure barley malt, pleasantly peated, handcrafted in small batches with Athanor, the traditional bain-marie still of the Poli Distilleries.
After a patient maturation of 5 years in oak barrels, the product is refined for at least a year in Amarone barrels, which transfer some distinctive traits of the famous Venetian wine to the distillate.
