Founded in 1729 Ruinart is the oldest Maison de Champagne. At its origin there is the intuition of a monk able to anticipate the times: Dom Thierry Ruinart. On September 1, 1979, the merchant of Reims, Nicolas Ruinart, opened his first account book dedicated to vin de bulles. This gave birth to a company that has continued to grow and prosper for almost 300 years.
