The name "Royale Réserve" refers to the ancestors of the Philipponnat family, vineyard owners, shopkeepers and winemakers, suppliers
of Louis XIV, magistrates and Maires Royaux of Ay.

This cuvée offers the essential characteristics of the Mareuil-sur-Ay area, dominant in the assembly in which the Pinot Noir clearly prevails. A beautiful balance between structure, length in the mouth and vinosity.
