The Lenza farm was founded in 1964 on the southern slope of Monte Orfano by Giuseppe Lenza with the recovery and patient reconstruction of the ancient terraces abandoned after the phylloxera destruction of the early 1900s.
Today Vittorio Lenza and his son Matteo directly manage with the same passion those eight hectares of apparently touchy, austere and refractory land that often requires more effort and more sacrifice but that harvest after harvest can give true hand-made wine masterpieces.
