Kurayoshi Distillery

The Kurayoshi distillery is located on the slopes of Mount Daisen, in a region of green, luxuriant and uncontaminated nature, which allows you to have very pure and crystalline water, which descends from the mountains and is made even lighter by the passage through the volcanic rocks. The climate, characterized by considerable temperature variations, favors a rather fast maturation of the distillates, with the development of very elegant and refined tertiary aromas. Great attention is paid to the aging of the distillates in the choice of selected woods, among the best varieties of Japanese oak and cherry, as well as old barrels previously used for the aging of fine wines or for the Andalusian fortified wines of Jerez de la Frontera.
