Kuenhof

Kuenhof

The history of the Kuenhof dates back to the 16th century, when it was founded as a farm. Over the centuries, the Baumgartner family has continued the tradition of cultivating vines and producing quality wines. Today, the management of the cellar has passed into the hands of the sixth generation of the family.

The Kuenhof winery is famous for the production of white wines, in particular those based on native grapes of Alto Adige, such as Kerner, Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer and Riesling. The vineyards are cultivated with organic and biodynamic methods, respecting the surrounding environment and maintaining a strong link with the territory.

The wines of the Kuenhof are characterized by their freshness, purity of flavors and elegance. The goal of the winery is to produce wines that express the unique characteristics of each grape variety and the terroir of Alto Adige. The wines have a good structure, a pleasant acidity and a remarkable aromatic complexity.
