It is distinguished by its elegant and delicate apple scent and its aromas of spices and gooseberries. The end of the mouth, persistent, is characterized by aromas of poached pear and red berries.
The vines selected for the production of this wine are all located on the Grand Cru of Kaefferkopf, hills facing south-east with mainly granite and limestone soils.
