Heymann - Löwenstein
Reinhard Löwenstein is an extraordinary interpreter of riesling. His wines are a combination of concentrated fruit aromas of long duration with complex mineral components and most of them are "dry" vinified. The Reinhard wines are today the "new" style of the Moselle and in fact the six Rieslings proposed well represent the terroir where the slate is absolute master of the panorama and of the taste in the first three-five years and where then the mineral components become more and more signifiers with strong and eccentric flavors. In addition to dry wines, which most of all represent the "modus operandi" of the company, great minerality and depth in Auslese and in Blanc de Noirs, which make Löwenstein one of the major protagonists of the Moselle.
