Above Neumarkt, in the plain of Alto Adige, is the small village of Mazzon. Framed by a magnificent cultural landscape, old farms and residences and the woods of the Trodena Horn natural park, this region is known as one of the best locations of Pinot Noir Italy far beyond the country's borders. Since time immemorial, this terrace to the east of the Etschufers is also called the "Pinot Noir" of Italy.
