The history of this winery began in the mid-1800s, more precisely in 1849, when Matteo Foderà began making wine from his own vineyards in the family cellar in Contrada Giardinello. The wine obtained from him and from the following four generations was sold, for over a century, to the tavernari of Trapani and to the local companies that used it as a base for Marsala wine.
Today it is Dario Foderà who represents the sixth generation of family winemakers.
