Wines Figli Luigi Oddero
The teachings of Luigi Oddero, who made the concept of tradition the strong point of his company, can also be found in the production in the cellar.
Tradition in the practical sense of the term: the style that is kept in the cellar sees the use of both cement vats and large French oak barrels. A traditional style, as many like to call it, which sees the most fitting example in the production of Barolo obtained from the vinification of grapes from vineyards located in different communes of the denomination: La Morra, Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba
And the tradition also continues in maintaining the historical vines typical of the Langa, such as Barbera, Dolcetto and Freisa, to give a sense of how much the history of this winery is rooted in the Langa.
Today in the cellar, Luigi's lesson is carried on by Stefano Boffa and Gregorio Tura, Luigi's historical collaborators, who assisted by the oenological consultancy of Dante Scaglione have picked up the baton.
