The Caillot estate was founded in 1961 by Roger Caillot, the father of current farmer and owner Michel. The vineyard covers approximately 13 hectares with vines averaging around 40 years old.
Since the early 1980s, under the influence of Michel Caillot, the estate has been adopting environmentally friendly winegrowing techniques (no chemical fertilisers, but only organic substances). The yields are also reduced.
Wines from this estate should be kept for about 3 years before drinking.
