Château Pétrus

Petrus was born in 1920, the year in which Madame Loubat inherited a piece of land in Pomerol. The great potential of the Château was confirmed in 1964 when the famous négociant Jean Pierre Moueix became a co-owner.

A myth of world enology: born in lands north-east of Libourne that extend to the western part of Saint-Émilion.

It is recognized as the number one in the entire production area.
Like all great, it never disappoints, year after year. Maximizes the best qualities of Merlot to the full while remaining natural in the expression of the territory. It has a very intense color, and an extremely vast and complex range of aromas, ranging from red fruits to exotic spices. The truffle aroma is clear. Always very elegant, it has an extremely long aging potential.
