Château Margaux 2020

The 2020 Château Margaux Grand Vin follows in the footsteps of those of 2018 and 2019. It is very rare for three consecutive vintages in Bordeaux to be so homogeneous and of such high quality.

The wine offers a complex and fascinating aromatic bouquet. Notes of ripe red fruit such as cherries, strawberries and raspberries can be perceived, together with hints of cassis and blackcurrants. Some floral nuances, such as violets, may be present. In addition, slight spicy and toasted wood notes from ageing in oak barrels can be detected.
On the palate, the Château Margaux 2020 is an elegant and refined wine. It has a complex and harmonious structure, with well-integrated tannins. Fruity flavours dominate, with a combination of red and black fruits, hints of plum and a subtle presence of sweet spices. Freshness and balance are evident, with a long, persistent finish.
