Bright golden yellow with green reflections, Castelnau de Suduiraut 2013 presents a still restrained nose, which reveals itself with aeration. Woody and spicy notes mingle with scents of candied fruit with a mineral touch.
On the palate, the wine is more open. After a silky and fresh attack, we have a greedy side with flavors of melon, acacia honey and candied citrus fruits.
The long, tense finish combines brown sugar, candied orange and a mineral touch. The 2013 vintage confirms its status as a great vintage with a slow and harmonious evolution.
