Casale del Giglio, founded in 1967 by the Santarelli family, is located 50 km south of Rome, in an area initially devoid of winemaking tradition. This company is a pioneer in exploring the viticultural potential of Lazio through bold experiments. Since 1985, under the guidance of winemaker Paolo Tiefenthaler, it has started an ambitious project planting over 60 international grape varieties, discovering which ones are best suited to its unique terroir.
