Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1990

A truly Exceptional vintage. Very favourable season´s development with April rainy and cold, May rainy and warm, June, July, August dry and warm September fairly dry and warm. The harvest was delayed because of the September rains. The drought reduced the grapes quantity but did concentrate the must values. Must rich in extracts and sugar and acidity. Wine with a great body, rich in colour, extracts, tannins, fairly acid and warm, elegant and harmonious. Only grapes that come from the Estate vineyards are vinified. Uncork and pour out a bit of wine from the bottles at least 8 hours before serving.
