There are many films revolving around the world of wine, here are our favourites to watch now:
Sideways - Travelling with Jack: A 2004 film directed by Alexander Payne, which follows two friends who embark on a journey through California to taste some of the area's best wines.
Bottle Shock: A 2008 film directed by Randall Miller, which tells the true story of a Californian winemaker who manages to beat French wines in a competition in Paris in 1976.
A Good Year: A 2006 film directed by Ridley Scott, which follows a London banker who inherits a vineyard in Provence and decides to move there.
Mondovino: A 2004 documentary directed by Jonathan Nossiter, which explores the world of wine and the challenges facing small wineries in a market increasingly dominated by large multinationals.
Somm: A 2012 documentary directed by Jason Wise, which follows four sommeliers preparing for the Master Sommelier exam, one of the most difficult in the world.
Barolo Boys: A 2014 documentary directed by Paolo Casalis and Tiziano Gaia, which tells the story of the young Barolo producers of the 1980s and 1990s, who revolutionised the way wine was made in Piedmont. The film follows their challenge against the traditions and conventions of Barolo wine and their success in bringing Barolo to the centre of the international wine scene.
Return to Burgundy (in French 'Ce qui nous lie'): A 2017 film directed by Cédric Klapisch, which tells the story of a family of winegrowers in Burgundy, who reunite after many years to celebrate their father's birthday and decide the future of their vineyard.
