Amarone della Valpolicella 2016

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is an intense ruby red wine, where the full body is perfectly balanced with the freshness of the sip. It is a very intense and complex wine, rich in notes of black fruits such as cherries and plums, and nuances of violet, black pepper, Mediterranean herbs such as thyme. On the nose you can perceive further notes of undergrowth, graphite and aromas such as dried fruit, figs and vanilla. On the sip it is intense, with ripe and decisive tannins well integrated into the wine and a very long finish. The wine could age for another 20 years, developing further tertiary notes.
